[Bug 63373] Current position highlighting in debugger does not work with qt/kde-3.0.x

Hi!

You can close this bug.

On KDE-3.0, Kate does not provide sourceline-highlighting and the showing of
breakpoint icons in the iconbar, but KDE-3.2cvs does, KDE-3.1 should
partially be able. It means your feature wish is already fulfilled.

If you want to debug in Gideon-KDE-3.0, you should stick to QEditor. Well,
one could insert a messagebox that appears only when starting the debugger for
the first time on KDE-3.0, and that warns about the missing features there.
But I think it would be the overkill for an slightly obsolete system.

QEditor itself is not able to highlight the sourceline where the breakpoint
or the debugger stepping currently is, on both, KDE-3.0 and 3.2. Only the
icon-sidebar is supported. You could be proud, if you provided a patch for that!
;-)

You reported that setting a breakpoint in QEditor via mouseclick on the
iconbar doesn't show the icon in the icon-sidebar. It doesn't happen here on
KDE-3.0.3. So are you sure it happens for you? If yes, maybe that should be filed
as bug.

Ciao
