Alpha5 Code Completion Unusable

I am using kdevelop-3.0a5. Code completion has become totally unusable. The moment I type “variable->” in the editor, the IDE goes into freeze and after long time comes out with the completion window.
I used r++ to generate tags for QT and KDE includes separately. As a related issue, r++ doesn’t find some include files (which are included by some other file which r++ is currently processing, maybe) although they are present in the same directory.

I tried to do some quick research by debugging cppcodecompletion.cpp:completeText() but oh god, gdb tries my patience and wins over it!! It’s too slow to make any sense.

Can anyone give me a brief idea of the whole code completion stuff? I definitely want to do something about it. (Speed, Correctness, Documentation display and Look and Feel)
