Well the detailed view of the file selector with size and date would be
helpful.
At the moment working with the file system can easily get annoying:

Take a log file written by your programm:
you want to know the size of the log file -> FileSelector
you want to look into it with an external tool/editor -> File Tree
you want to delete it -> File Selector

Or if you're looking for changes in your files:
you want to know which file you changed last -> File Selector
you want to commit the changes to CVS -> File Tree

I mean you are constantly switching between the 2 panels, because they have
different subsets of actions you'd like to carry out with the filesystem.

And if the missing functionality gets implemented in File Tree, the result
will almost be a clone of File Selector, limited to the current project dir.
So I thought merging the 2 would be a good idea helping usability.
But if you prefer to enhance the File Tree project view and keep the File
Selector for system wide browsing, that's perfectly ok for me :)

Gideon is really becoming a great product recently.
Thanks a lot for this brilliant work.
