gideon alpha 4...

I knew there was a reason I didn't announce sooner :). 

The only people who know about alpha 4 are the packagers, gentoo ebuild users 
(who see that a new alpha 4 ebuild exists), and anyone who stumbles upon it 
on download.kde.org..and, obviously, people on this list.

My current plan is to retag soon as alpha_4a, though I'm waiting for Dirk's 
confirmation as to his preferred method of naming - it may be alpha_5.  
Either way, the current alpha_4 tag will stay put as the package already 
exists.

I have yet to decide if I want to retag from HEAD or just pull in the critical 
fixes.  Your comments are welcome.  I would prefer to get a release out as 
soon as possible as it keeps slipping back a few days each time we try. :)
