adding cvs support to a project later than at project creation ?

Hi,

can somebody explain cvs support in gideon a little bit to me?
i was wondering, if it would be possible to detect, if a project has cvs 
support at runtime, for example when gideon opens an existing project. 
couldn´t it simply check if there is a CVS directory in the main program 
directory and activate cvs support, when it finds that dir ?

that way one could decide to import an existing project to some cvs server and 
recheck it out at any point in time, any you are not forced to decide this at 
project creation time.

it should also be possible to import an existing project to a server with some 
dialog boxes from gideon, so the beginning users wouldn´t have to fiddle 
around with this cvs command line stuff.

is there something that i overlooked?
