Summary: linker options dont allow to use environment variables
Product: kdevelop
Version: 2.1
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel at barney.cs.uni-potsdam.de
ReportedBy: werner at schulte-ac.de
Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.0.2)
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-4GB
To fit the requirements of crosscompiling (opie for ipaq needs an additional library, which is not used under X), I want to use environment variables also in the "linker options additional libs field" (to set lets say $EXTRA_LIBS).
This is possible in the "compiler options" fields, but doesnt work in the above described field.
You may enter the variable, automake and configure, but the linker call does miss the variable finally.
