Summary: 'Insert file ...' causes seg fault
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 2.1
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kdevelop-devel at barney.cs.uni-potsdam.de
        ReportedBy: rwelch at reactor-software.com

Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.0.0)
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-110)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-10

Using the 'Insert file ...' option on the 'edit' menu item frequently causes a segmentation fault (sorry, don't have the dump but will try to capture it next time)

Usually happens after KDevelop has been running for some time and has a few (~10) files open. Cannot re-create it after re-starting.

Can work around by opening file & using copy & paste but with large files this can become unwieldy.
