Your message with subj: Bug#43151: wishlist - add error lookup from gcc output

Hi,

??? this feature is working for ages now. If KDevelop complains that it can=
not=20
find the right file please upgrade to 2.1.1 or set your $LANG and/or $LC_AL=
L=20
variables to "C".

Best regards,
Harry

Package:           kdevelop
Version:           2.1 (using KDE 3.0.1 )
Severity:          wishlist
Installed from:    Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          gcc 2.95
OS:                Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Linux 2.4.18

It would be great if one could click on a compile error or warning in the gcc output and be taken to the file and line of interest. This is implemented in XEmacs, for instance. It greatly improves syntax fixing efficiency.
