Subject: Periodic failure to display cursor with multiple source files open, followed occasionally by crashing
From: try at cs.byu.edu
X-KDE-Received: -128.187.175.147
Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.0.0 -10)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2.93
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-110)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.9-31
OS/Compiler notes:
To reproduce this bug:
1) Open a custom project.
2) Open multiple source files for editing.
3) Alternate back and forth between the open source files until the editor fails to display the cursor in the current file.
My fix:
1) Close all open files, and close project.
2) Shut down kdevelop and restart it.
[Sometimes kdevelop will crash as I try to shut down.]
