But you will have to pay this with a lot of extra work. I don't think that you 
can not use gideon for anything, I rather think it is "almost there". 

My suggestion would be to put KDevelop2 into maintainance mode. This is 
necessary anyway, given the large user base.

I would then suggest to move forward with putting the missing stuff into 
gideon, and continuing to add all the nice things that we could not in 
KDevelop2, like a lot more language support parts etc.
