Status of KDEVELOP_2_BRANCH?

Do you really think that it is better to make kdevelop
dependent of one more other project? (consider that
sourcenav is quite large and comes only with redhat, not
e.g. suse AFAIK)
Wouldn't it be better to create our own, kdeveop-optimized
class-store? (i know that this is one more the question:
"should we re-invent the whell, but consider the above mentioned)

btw, i'm working on a concept + impl. (although my kde is
currently not working)
