Yes, you are right. But we changed the mailinglist software some weeks ago, 
so now you have a password. :-) Normaly it would be mailed to you every 
month. You can get it from here 
http://barney.cs.uni-potsdam.de/mailman/listinfo/kdevelop-devel 
if you have deleted the email.
