Your message with subj: Bug#38932: can not use program

Hi,

1. Go to Options->KDevelop Interface to change the viewMode.

2. Read the documentation with your favourite browser how to set up htdig to
enable text searches.

3. The back and forward buttons are working just fine, this seems to be a
FreeBSD related thing. If you are a developer, feel free to send a patch to
the list.

4. Try to be polite since a lot of people are reading the mailing-list.

Best regards,
Harry

From: frk at adsl-63-194-157-35.dsl.snfc21.pacbell.net
X-KDE-Received: -63.194.157.35

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0.2 (using KDE 2.2.2 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release) [FreeBSD]
OS: FreeBSD (i386) release 4.5-RELEASE
OS/Compiler notes:

basically after 2 weeks i cannot make this do anything useable. for example: i read you documentation in your browser. there is no BACK function. the PREVIOUS function is useless as i do not care what was textually previous in the docs. there is NO INDEX!!
ok so i try to use your search function. i highlight text. i use the right button and you have the option "lookup" with the text i highlighted (so you know what i highlighted).
i select this option. i get an error box that i must highlight some text. so your search is basically broke. you have your own browser. you should throw it away. use netscape, it has more functionality and actually works to boot.
the main window is not used. i click buttons and newwindows (sometimes) open up.
in your docs you say the main window works in 3 modes. thats it. no info on how those modes are controlled. do i change modes, does it do it by itself, who knows, your documentation person sure dosn't.i am sorry but i must stop now before i start using very bad language.
