Hi,

if somebody applied this patch to gideon it would be nice to check the 
created "makehierdir"-directory for existence, too.
Please think also about the correct quoting of parameters inside 
KShellProcess (e.g. directorynames with special chars). There are 
already KShellProcess code parts inside KDevelop (and I assume in 
gideon, too), which doesn't handle this.
