Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0 (using KDE 3.0.2 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

Intellisense is nice and all, but there are times in which I'm looking at a variable, and I just want to know what it is, especially with global constants.

I think it would be nice if, when the mouse or cursor is over a variable, that a small balloon would pop-up next to it and tell you what it is. If its type is a typedef, then you could click on some arrows in ballon and look at all the typedefs. If it is a preprocessor defined constant, then it would show what it's defined as.
