Your message with subj: Not a KDevelop bug

Hi,

I know, the Clipboard sometimes drives me crazy, too... It gets better with=
=20
KDE 3.1.

Please note that KDE has a Clipboard (CTRL-C, CTRL-V) and the X-Server has =
one=20
(mark and middle mouse button). Some apps don't stick to that, so the wrong=
=20
thing might be pasted.

Best regards,
Harry

Subject: Copy-n-paste drives me crazy!
From: lukas at gm.nw.schule.de
X-KDE-Received: -80.131.241.241

Package: kdevelop
Version: KDE 3.0.1
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I mainly use the programs Kdevelop but I want copy and paste text from other apps. I'm used to select a piece of text to copy it and to press the middle mouse button to paste it. Unfortunately, since KDE 3.0 it's absolutely impossible to predict what will be pasted next. I tried to configure it but I didn't get it right. With Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V I also get mostly random results. I really like Kde, but this bug makes it almost impossible to work with it.
