Gideon's editor parts

Hi!

I've two requests about the editor parts.

1) The kate part does not load. On startup there's no profile and 9 offers are 
used for plain/text. So that the Qt editor part is chosen. Why?
I'm using KDE 3.0.0 (stable). Does it concern with what Joseph Wenninger 
talk's about in his latest mails?

2) The Qt editor part doesn't show its toolbars (i.e. Save, Print, etc.). I 
don't have the knowledge to change it, sorry.
