I'm using Kdevelop 1.2 / Suse 7.0 German Edition

When porting a 1.2 MB source code package to Linux I
found following points.

The problems / small improvements are listed in groups


Editor
-------------------------------------------------------
When using the function "Goto Line Number" the content
of the cut & paste buffer is overwritten by the line
number. The external program KEdit works correctly.

When using the "Search (and Replace)" functions there
are two different masks for the header and source
files. One is enough, as each time the text has to be
entered twice. (improvement)

"Search (and Replace)" Cut & Paste would be great.

Dialog Editor
-------------------------------------------------------
I had several times the case that the system is
totally blocked when checking the mask with Ctrl Space
and changing the size of the mask.
This happens especially with the option of a given
minimum size. (bug)

When changing a mask after having created the files
already the begin of the main include file of the
program is quite often overwritten with some
characters. It was often the case the name of the
inserted variable.
Quite often the header file of the mask is no longer
correct. (bug)

When entering data into the input fields quite often
the input is stopped and continues only after having
clicked in the field again. (bug ?)


Creating Classes with the Class-Generator
-------------------------------------------------------
The order of the fields / buttons is not in the
correct
order. When moving with Tab Cancel is reached first
then OK. (minor point)

When creating von classes with the base class
QTabDialog it would be a very good improvement is the
the third parameter was added with the value of true.

KIconEdit
-------------------------------------------------------
When changing the size of the icon and having selected
all text in the size field, without deleting, an
assert message is displayed. This happens every time
the module has been started. (bug)


Online Help System
-------------------------------------------------------
It would be great if the help files and the given
examples could be printed directly from the
development system. (improvement)


Make
-------------------------------------------------------
I had one time the case that the system died after I
had clicked the halt icon. Only reset was able that
the system started again. (bug?)


Debugging
-------------------------------------------------------
After the program finished you have still to click the
halt icon. This makes no sense. (improvement)
