That's not my fault. It looks like Harald's fix didn't really fix anything. 
Revert the last changes Harald made. I'll have a look later, still have some 
thesis related work to do......

Now I assume the problem with { would be where the text gets replaced... I'll 
have to go over and change that. Don't disable the auto-indent on { code, 
just revert that last change which causes the above behavior and I will have 
a look in a few days.
