Hi !

I had the same problem. It seems it is a problem in the _binary_ files 
distributed for RedHat. I re-compiled the source and now all the problems 
(also concerning the editor taking minutes to respond on a mouse-click) are 
gone.

I actually had one problem compiling (Error message: got QString while 
expexcting bool), in source-lines of the type ASSERT(BLA), here I had to put
ASSERT(BLA != 0) instead.
