Subject: weird chars in messages window
From: j.p.cranendonk at tursiops.org

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0.2 (using KDE 2.2.2 -1)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7-10
OS/Compiler notes:

in a project with a handbuild Makefile, in the lastest version of kdevelop I'm getting weird chars in the message window when compiling (hitting F8),
example :
"¤Now compiling .... admin.c 754 lines
´Now compiling .... version.c 28 lines
´Now compiling .... c_count_output.c 168 lines
Now compiling .... curse.c 241 lines
´Now compiling .... smail.c 487 lines
´smail.c:102:2: #error , make .toXml, use super one to do most of the work
smail.c:247:8: warning: #warning needs testing on errs
ogmake: *** [objs/smail.o] Error 1
s*** failed ***"

notice the weird chars to the left,

this has been so since the last update, without nay changes to the Makefile, really looks like kdevelop is messed up here.

rather annoying too, cause it messes up automaticly jumping to the right file/line when you click on a error msg.

fix it, please! ^.^
