I killed my kde2.2. so can i use 2.1 with kde3

Is there a version of kdevelop that works with 3
not Gideon, but 2.1
as I can't seem to get kde2.2.2 working again.  fiddle fiddle break.
and I cant seem to get very far with gideon.

might as well carry on w. kde3beta if i can get kdevelop working
