Subject: } displayed as | in source files
From: finn at balle-larsen.dk

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc 2.96
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

I have created a new project.
When I open main.cpp all } are displayed as | and all
) are also displayed as |
I am using a Danish keyboard, so the } is <altGr>0
and the ) is <shift>9
Other keystrokes are displayed correctly.
If I edit main.cpp with an editor the }'s and ) are displayed as } and ) and the "empty" generated code is compiled and run ok.
A copy of the "|" and a paste into an editor gives a } and a ) respectively.
Copy/paste into kdevelop gives me a |
I have not seen this "bug" in any other application.
Also existing projects I have downloaded does the same.
As you can imagine this is a bit cumbersome since I can't distinguish between | } )

(Called from KBugReport dialog. Fields Application, KDE Version, OS, Compiler manually changed)
