Subject: KDevelop freezes and crashes during debugging
From: richard at garandnet.net
Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.0.1 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Mandrake Linux 8.1 2.96-0.62mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.8-26mdk
OS/Compiler notes:
I'm developping a game with SDL, and after installing the SDL libraries from RPMs on the site, KDevelop started to freeze and crash during debugging. Changing the libraries fixed the problem. When I ran KDevelop from a console, the output ended with this
(after a lot of warnings that are probably 'normal'):
kdevelop: WARNING: Precondition violation [ParsedContainer.cc:102]
kdevelop: WARNING: Unique attribute <vptrs>: !hasAttribute( useFullPath ?
anAttribute->path() : anAttribute->name )
kdevelop: WARNING: KDE detected X Error: BadLength (poly request too large or
internal Xlib length error) 16
Major opcode: 4
kdevelop: WARNING: KDE detected X Error: BadLength (poly request too large or
