Subject: mini-bug: deselecting text with End/Home
From: sarefo at yahoo.com

Package: kdevelop
Version: 1.4 (using KDE 2.1.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release)
OS: Linux 2.2.16 i686
OS/Compiler notes:

In the text edit pane, when I select from cursor position to end of line (Shift-End), but then want to go to the end of line and thereby deselect the selected text, it does not work.
That is, When I press End once more, nothing happens. This is inconsistent, because when I am in the middle of the line and press End, the text gets deselected. If I have selected to the end of the line, I have to for example do an arrow left- arrow right to do what I want.

This may sound like a *very* unimportant thing, but when I am programming at times when I should probably be sleeping (like now), and my hand rests on the keyboard, it would really make a difference if I would not have to lift my hand from the key-field below the Scroll-Lock down to the arrow-keyfield ;)

bye
stefan
