Subject: kdevelop help search does not work with glimpse
From: Steven.Homolya at spme.monash.edu.au

Package: kdevelop
Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE 2.1.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 6.9.2
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-75)
OS: Linux 2.2.17-8smp i686
OS/Compiler notes:

I am aware that there is a problem with kdevelop finding htdig libraries, so I installed glimpse (v. 4-12-5) which seems to have different problems. There are no error messages; here is what happens:

>From the kdevelop menu select

Help -> Search for Help on...

Type search term in pop-up window, say

automake

Upon clicking the 'search' button the following text appears in the statusbar:

Searching selected text in documentation...

but nothing happens.
