Subject: opening other types of files
From: luke_worth at softhome.net
X-KDE-Received: -210.11.48.33

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from:
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-110)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-3
OS/Compiler notes:

I have a (plain text) file called data.scr and i want to be able to edit this within the ide. It kept responding with a program selection window until i renamed it to data.txt. There should be some kind of option(at least) to specify whether to open a file within the gui or using an external program.
