Subject: utf8 and cyrillic in kdevelop editor window
From: jeka at flavia-bg.com
X-KDE-Received: -212.116.159.169

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.1beta2 (using KDE 2.2.2 -2)
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.7-10
OS/Compiler notes:

I have those problem with kdevelop
when i switch kde to iso10646 charset i can't write nothing in cyr alphabet on kdevelop editor window
everything else in kde works fine, only problem is in kdevelop.
this happened when i set my system environment LANG=bg_BG.utf8
this is needed to see cyr output in kconsole window
When LANG=bg_BG (without .utf8) i can see and write in cyr alphabet but every apha generates 2 symbols (leter and space) and all spaces in word are acumulated at end of string.
I think that editor window on kdevelop does not manage utf fonts as expected
Actually i haven't idea why kdevelop depends on LANG environment
