Your message with subj: Bug#41890: source distribution does not install kdbg?

Hi,

kdbg is a stand-alone application and not part of the KDE distribution.=20
KDevelop has its own internal debugger and doesn't ship with kdbg. If you=20
don't want to use the internal debugger you can download kdbg from=20
http://members.nextra.at/johsixt/kdbg.html.

Best regards,
Harry

Subject: source distribution does not install kdbg?
From: ra3 at os.inf.tu-dresden.de
X-KDE-Received: -141.76.48.43

Package: kdevelop
Version: 2.1 (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.2.20
OS/Compiler notes:

I obtained the source distribution of KDE 3 and compiled and installed every package (so I believed). When I wanted to debug one of my applications using kdevelop (and kdbg) it complained about a missing kdbg. When I checked it was true: no kdbg. I didn't even find it in one of the source packages - where did it go?
