We have Gideon as well as KDevelop 2.2 in HEAD branch now, but most work 
should go into the parts. Just pick/create a cool Gideon Plugin and it will 
be available in both Gideon and KDevelop 2.2, so no work will be lost.

If you want to hack on the core, then fell free to add some usability to 
Gideon or throw out / refactor some old crappy code from KDevelop 2.2 and 
replace it with a part...
