OS/Compiler notes: 

The auto ident option on the editor do not use tabs to indent 
(the previous line were indented using tabs).

Options->Editor Options:
Options: Auto Indent, Remove trailing spaces, Highlight Brackets, Show Tabs and Delete On Input.
Wrap words at: 78
Tab Width: 4
Undo Steps: 5000
Indent Length: 4

This was working in previous releases of KDevelop.
