Bug#31794: Cut, Copy, Paste don't work; crash on loading project

I was working on a project in KDevelop 2.0 when I realized after a while that
Cut, Copy & Paste didn't work any more when invoved through a shortkey or from
the Edit menu (they still did from the context menu!) - this is as described
in bug #31794. It's worse than that, however: After closing KDevelop and
restarting it every time I try to load my project KDevelop CRASHES! Any help
how I can recover my efforts?
