I would suggest not to integrate it with the application wizard. This would 
only increase the complexity of it. 
I think a import dialog (as a kpart) similar to the current one is a nice 
thing. But the user should not select from language or projectmangement 
combobox, but from a "projecttype" combobox. Projecttypes are predefined 
".kdevelop" files with an additional name and comment. The name could be 

"C++ KDE Application"
"PHP Web Application"
"C++ Terminal Application" and so on. 

For the advanced user maybe we can make the language/projectmanagmenttype 
editable.
