Speaking of "speed".

There is a pretty serious issue w/speed in the current KDEVELOP_1_4
branch. 

There are several situations when KDevelop seems to simply hang for a
few seconds. My platform is SPARC Ultra60, Solaris6 but I bet it is
similar w/midrange PC's. 

First, when you open a large project, say KDevelop itself, after the
file's have been parsed and the progress bar has disapeared there is a
period of 4-7 seconds where you cant do anything in the main window. 

It's simply hanging there. I suppose this is when the class tree gets
generated? Is that correct? We should give some feedback or speed this
up. 

The second situation is whenever you switch focus to a file that isn't
opened yet. That takes "freakin' forever", or ~3-5 seconds. That's
definitely unacceptable. 

Can we profile things to see what's actually going on? I see a message
that says "URL stuffing" and that's about it... 

Any ideas?
