Package: kdevelop
Version: KDE 2.1.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.1.0-1 (testing/unstable)
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010219 (prerelease)
OS: Linux 2.4.1 i686
OS/Compiler notes:

KDevelop 1.4 (with KDE 2.1) Help Browser toolbar has a bug.

Description:

The Help Browser Back/Forward Toolbar drop down history lists are not correct -- there is a faulty leading blank entry, and the nth entry is labelled as the (n-1)th entry.

To reproduce:

Start a new kdevelop session. Select the help browser. A page, whichever you were last browsing, is displayed. Select a link, and follow it. Repeat. Press and hold the Back button till the History list drops down.

Notes:

Occasionally, browsing to the faulty leading blank name will crash.
