The architecture for plugging in other programming languages and compilers is
schedulled for KDevelop-3.0 (~ end of the year 2001). You can join to those projects
already right now, some development for this is already under construction in
KDevelop's CVS main trunc (HEAD).

At the moment there's something going on with C++ (gcc and gpp) and some initial
things are done for JAVA as far as I remember...
