Hmm, the htdig on SuSE 7.2  (which announces itself as 3.1.5)
is in fact patched by SuSE to take - as argument. So maybe
you have a newer htdig version in which this modification
has been integrated, but with a different syntax.

That would be ugly, as it would indicate different syntax
on different distributions :-(
