Yes, it's not possible since moc doesn't care about #ifdef blocks

Please, branch from KDEVELOP_1_4 to a for instance
KDEVELOP_2_x_KATE_INTEGRATION branch in CVS.
Then you must only synchronize your branch with the changes from
KDEVELOP_1_4.
