Subject: display littered when window automatically docks
From: Pascal.Niklaus at unibas.ch

Package: kdevelop
Version: KDE 2.1.0
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc 2.95.2
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: SuSE linux 7.0

The display gets littered when automatically docking (snapping) to the left window/desktop edge. I could only reproduce this effect with windows that are as wide as the screen, or wider. The effect occurs when the 'snapping' occurs, i.e. the window being dragged locks to the border.

I have stored a snapshot of how it looks like under
http://pc1-archbo.bot.unibas.ch/~pascal/snapshot1.png

How to reproduce the effect:

Maximise a window to fill the screen, reduce the size, pull down the top window border a little (e.g., reduce it's size *vertically*, but not *horizontally*), and then drag the window around and let it automatically snap/dock to the screens corners.
