Daily Snapshots

Considering the HEAD branch: almost nothing...
1) on ftp.kde.org you'll find *.bz2 and on ftp.ee.fhm.edu instead you'll 
find *.gz
2) maybe they differ a little bit because of the time they are bundled 
(the normal time difference between these packages shouldn't cause any 
trouble in this development stage).

It still exists on ftp.ee.fhm.edu (the one mentioned on the KDevelop 
site) and the other "direct" KDevelop mirrors for historical reason and 
having the possibility to get an older snapshot and of course for 
retrieving other cvs-tags like KDEVELOP_1_4 (aka kdevelop 2.0) and 
KDEVELOP_1_0 (obsolete KDE 1 version) bundled as tarball.

The tarball creation of  KDevelop on ftp.ee.fhm.edu happens every day at 
3:15 am CE[S]T from cvsup.kde.org and only if sth. has changed.
On networking problems the process of tarball creation will be delayed 
till access to cvsup.kde.org is possible.
