Help me!!!

Hello,I'am an italian student of the politecnico of Milan,and i have installed the Mandrake 7.2 release of Linux with KDE2;i try to install the Kdevelop version 1.2 and 1.3 but I did not succeed in it...How can I do?I have to wait the Kdevelop 1.4,please answer me,and give me some help!!!!!!!
