My KDevelop wishlist.

Hello,

Sandy Meier told me in the forum that I could send suggestions for
improvements of KDevelop to this address. I came up with the following list in
the last couple of months of using KDevelop. These things are only my personal
preferences, and I can imagine other people may have different preferences or
that things are the way they are for a good reason.
Also, I apolozige beforehand if there's anything here that is actually in the
editor already but that I just haven't found.

Anyway:

- When I am debugging, I often want to run my program several times while
keeping an eye on the same variables. Right now, when I start a program, all
watches are removed and I have to enter them all again. It would be nice if
the watches were kept, or if there was an option for this.

- It would be nice to have an easier way to switch documents instead of using
the LFV view or the ctrl-right mous button. For instance a right-mouse click
on the C/C++ Files tab, or one tab for every document.

- When writing a console app, I am by definition interested in the stdout tab.
Right now, when I start my app I have to manually switch to this tab.

- If I turn on the "remove trailing spaces" option, I would like to have
trailing tabs removed as well. Right now, the "end" button regularly takes me
half a few tabs too far because the indentations of a deleted line end up at
the end of the preceding line.

- I noticed that it is not possible to copy a block of text in the editor and
then paste it in the edit-box on the bottom of the "var" tab. It would be nice
if this were possible. I know I can use the right mouse-button menu to add a
watch, but sometimes I want to enter a bunch of watches based on the same
string (For instance an array with a few different indices) and then I have to
enter this manually.

Thanks for your time and good luck with this awesome project,

									Jeroen Bouwens
