Merry Christmas to everyone out there!
Falk has put this little announcement together, so I just forward you the
info. The recently announced version of KDevelop which includes
crosscompiling is now available both as source and precompiled for various
Linux Distributions. Please report any problems to
kdevelop-devel at kdevelop.org so people who are still working and providing
support over the holidays can assist you.
As a sidenote, the version for running under KDE 2.2 can be found in the KDE
3.0 beta1 directories on ftp.kde.org, so please don't get confused by that.
In the according directories there are always two KDevelop rpm's/tar.gz's,
one named KDevelop-2.1 for KDE 2.2 and one named KDevelop-2.1 for KDE 3.0. As
long as you don't want to test KDE 3.0beta as well you are required to have
KDE 2.2 installed and update KDevelop to KDevelop 2.1 beta for KDE 2.2.
I hope we can provide you with this release the tools that you want to use to
build and develop your applications with, especially in regards to Qtopia
development.
Again, merry christmas and happy hacking over the holidays,
Ralf

construction on KDevelop's CVS HEAD branch and which will be
released some time later.
If you like to join the KDevelop developers, don't hesitate to
contact us at kdevelop-devel at kdevelop.org! We need you bugfixes
and patches for the 2.1 release as well as your contributions for
Gideon!
Known issues
============
These issues must be fixed for final release 2.1:
- Tab page mode view-switching by click on the tab headers broken
- coloured compiler output broken (black/white only atm)
- small editor bugs because of new Tab-key code-indention
Have fun,
F at lk Brettschneider (on behalf of the whole KDevelop team)
