Package: kdevelop
Version: Qt: 2.3.2KDE: 2.2.1KDevelop: 2.0.2 (using KDE 2.2.1 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.1 2.96-98)
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Red Hat Linux release 7.2 (Enigma) Linux thunk.paulbeard.org 2.4.15-greased-turkey #1 Fri Nov 23 22:45:37 PST 2001 i686 unknown

when I load an existing project, kdevelop opens, but hangs to the extent, I can't do anything else: the mouse will move but won't select another app, even in the panel. I have to kill X and restart: a true Windows experience ;-)

To fix it I simply move the session file aside and kdevelop opened as it should. I assume a crash left me with a malformed session file and upon restart, kdevelop can't grok it.

I'd call this pretty severe, since it renders kdevelop and the whole desktop unusable if the workaround isn't understood.
