After selecting file/close, I decided to correct the large, half cut off window titles I've had on all my windows.  I selected (kmenu)/preferences/look & feel/fonts, and changed the font from heveltica 12, to 10.  I've been able to reproduce it twice, but am not sure if it was while all the panes were blank (no project, no files open, not looking at a help file), or if it was due to changing the font size twice (12 to 10 to 8).

I just tried it with a freshly opened kdevelop (no project opened), and with the help opened, changed (12 to 10 to 8 and back to 12) selecting "apply" each time with no problems.  I switched to C/C++ files tab, which blanked the screens (all white) and got a seg fault when hiting apply after selecting font size 8.

This is quite a low probability bug, but there you are.

The system has a pretty clean RH 7.1 install.  I haven't updated anything, but I have installed a few packages from the cds after installing linux.
