Texteditor interface - move ?

Hi

Is it possible to move the kdevelop/gideon text editor interface eg to
kdelibs, or is it too kdevelop centric ? If it's possible to extract I would
say it should be moved, so that the kate/kdevelop plugin can be compiled and
other applications can use it.
