Subject: cannot copy text in Kdevelop, menu item disabled
From: per.angstrom at autark.se

Package: kdevelop
Version: KDE 2.2.0 Beta1
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: Not Specified
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified

When I'm editing code and I highlight a piece of text and press Ctrl+C, Kdevelop will not copy the text to the copy buffer.

If I look in the Edit menu, I can see that Copy and Cut are both disabled, and the respective icons are also disabled. X-style copy/paste doesn't work either; highlighting doesn't update the X copy buffer.

Pasting works, if I have copied something in another application.

Let me add that copying works fine in other KDE applications.
