kdevelop vs. gideon installs

Hi,
is it possible that there are name conflicts w/the libraries that
kdevelop-2 and gideon install? 

I am not able to verify this completely but I suspect that a make
install into the same DESTDIR from both codebases can be disastrous, is
that so?

And, if this is the case, should we increase the gideon related library
version numbers to 3.xx ?
