Lorenzo,

gideon is a codename. Also it's quite good because it enables you to
have both ide's on the system. gideon will become kdevelop 3.0 to be
released with KDE 3.0 using Qt 3.x and gcc 3, so thanks for any patches
if someone plays with gcc 3 already.
