This is great stuff!

What I would like to ask is: Is there a way we can smoothly integrate this
(kwrite_part and the idetexteditor interface) into kdelibs/kdebase ?

Assuming that binary compatibility is no problem (we are going to have to break
it in kio/kfile soon the last time anyway ;) , what do you think about merging
the idetexteditor stuff into kdelibs/interface and the kwrite_part modifs into
the "real" kwrite and then setup the cvs link? (so that kdevelop/kwrite is a
CVS "link" (just like kde-common/admin) to kdebase/kwrite, as discussed some time
ago) .

What do you think?

If necessary ;) I volunteer to do this, if someone points me to the differences/modifs
which have been made to the "original" version. (I guess we can just copy over the
ideeditor stuff to ktexteditor) ?
